Description

I was coming back from taking a drive as the sun was setting and saw this Eastern Kingbird perched on top of this tree. I pulled over, rolled my window down and watched it for a little bit as it flew around and collected bugs. As I was snapping photos of it when it flew to the top of the tree, this Cedar Waxwing flew in, unannounced. I was so surprised to see it land right beside the Kingbird and so happy that I was in the right place at the right time.
